Our Risk Management System
For the higher security of our tourists, VisitGeorgia has created it’s own risk management system, in accordance with modern international requirements.
VG Bus
To keep high standards of service VisitGeorgia began modernizing it’s vehicle fleet in the times when there was almost no modern transport in the country.
Our agency owns modern German buses (Setra, Mercedes Travego & Tourino, Neoplan, Man, Scania) and minibusses (Mercedes Sprinters). Transport that is united under the “VG Bus” brand is the best in the country.
Travel safety is the most important thing to us – that’s why all transport undergoes technical inspection before it departs into our tours.
From 2020 VisitGeorgia organizes medical check-ups for all its drivers.
Having as little impact on the environment as possible and care for nature is an essential part of our industry. From 2018 “Visit Georgia” gives preferences to hybrid cars and in the future, we plan to actively use electric cars in our tours.
VG Guides
Before the start of each season, we invite leading specialists from foreign agencies to train our guides. Some attend qualification improvement courses abroad – later it allows them to work as tour leaders for European companies.
Safety during travels is essential so that’s why all of our guides are trained in Risk Management and go through a First Aid course.
Apart from their work the majority of our guides continue academic studies and have M.A or Doctor’s degrees in disciplines that coincide with the tourism industry.
